The cottage itself is ideal for peaceful relaxation, woodland strolls and picnics, and watching the buzzards, swallows and other birds. Local attractions include the beautiful beaches of the Ceredigion Coast and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the Gwili and Teifi Valley steam railways, and numerous historic castles. The local area has a network of quiet country lanes ideal for mountain biking, walking and horse riding. There is a network of footpaths around the historic village of Drefach-Felindre which is also home to the National Woollen Museum. Brechfa Forest, a few miles to the east, is a popular destination for mountain biking, and is now home to a new 10km family bike trail in addition to the highly praised Gorlech Trail. A additional trail is due to open in the autumn.

The River Teifi provides opportunities for fishing and canoeing, and salmon can sometimes be seen leaping the falls at Cenarth. Close to the estuary at Cardigan is the Teifi Marshes Wildlife Reserve. Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park provides an oppopportunity to see seals, dolphins and many other animals.

Further afield are the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, Pembrey Country Park and the Millenium Coastal Park with its cycle path with spectacular views to the Gower. Folly Farm and the Oakwood theme park are within easy reach.

Situated in the heart of West Wales in the Carmarthenshire countryside, with the lovely beaches of Cardigan Bay and Pembrokeshire in easy reach, Llainddu Farm Holiday Cottage commands superb views across the beautiful Teifi Valley and provides immediate access to fifteen acres of private woods and farmland, with farm walks and abundant wildlife. The tastefully restored and furnished cottage sleeps up to 7 people (cot also available on request).
